As you probably are already aware, both P7 classes went to a “Choices For Life” concert yesterday. There was a small theatre production called ‘Pace’ and they did a sketch about friends in P7 going on to High School and all the troubles that they go through. We also had a ‘Choices Family Fortunes’ ad we had The Adams Family and The Simpsons and we had to shout out answers to the questions. In the end The Simpsons won! Then a band called ‘Girls Can’t Catch’ and they sang their single ‘Echo’ and we all have a fabulous! P7 Starbursts :D

Hi everybody, we’re back from camp!

We got so many fabulous photos but unfortunatly  they are not uploading onto the comuter because it has so many viruses!! But I’m sure yor children have lovely photos that they took or if not, they can prit off some of the photos at school or bring in a memory pen so we can put them on that.

And at parents evening you can come and have a look at your children having a lot of fun!!

Again we are very sorry that we can not get the photos on the blog!

I’ve spent ages with the kids and on my own tring to upload more pictures but the connection is soooooo slow!! You will all have to wait until we get back to the big city until you get to see us in action!

Everyone is having a great time, eating well, keeping dry(ish) and most importantly trying new things and smiling and laughing loads. No tears or tantrums so far not even from us teachers!

See you on Friday! Blogging out until Tuesday…

P7 Starbursts, Galaxies and the teachers :-)

We are having a great time here but we are all very exhausted!

We  are doing 4 activities per group per day and some of those activities are Quad Biking, Abseiling, Survivor, Sequoia Scramble, Trapeze, Climbing, Raft Building and Giant Swing!

Everyone had a great time. Unfortunately a couple of people got soaked at Survivor  and everyone at raft building but everybody thought it was hilarious.

In the evening we did wacky races which ended in making robot suits out of cardboard and fighting them with flour and water! Miss Hay and Lachlan got completely soaked by all the boys and looked like a wet dog!

It was James’s 12th birthday and we celebrated with some cakes, banners, cards and singing from everyone at camp. He had a great time with all his friends.

Our instructor is called Wrighty! He is really cool and keeps us on time for everything

Now we are going to see what adventures are coming our way……

Archery, zipwire, kayaking and loads more so we better get back to it!

We are so excited to be at camp! We arrived about 11 and had lunch and chill out time before seeing the dorms. They are lovely!! We may have problems with 10 boys sharing one ensuite bathroom but I have told them they will be hosed down by the teachers if they don’t wash!!

The reason I am blogging instead of the class is both classes are having too much fun to stop and bother with computers! We only have wifi in the main building so we will try to squeeze some blog time between activities and food if possible. The food was lovely at dinner- a choice of fish and chips, lasangne or ravioli along with nice veg and  a big salad bar.

We have a campfire starting in about an hour which gives everyone a chance to wrap up warm and tidy the dorms, they are messy already but not for long- mess means no sweets!!!

I better head back so i don’t miss out on all the fun! We will hopefully post some pictures tomorrow.

We miss you all (a little bit) ,

P7 Starbursts, P7 Galaxies, Miss Inglis, Miss Hay and Mr Stewart

We are all looking forward to going to camp next week. We have decided our dorm and activity groups. We are all really excited about doing these activities: Quad Biking, Zipwire, Abseiling, Giant Swing, kayaking and Archery!
We are going to update the blog in our free time when we are at camp and we hope that some of the parents could comment in their free time too.

Updates are soon coming your way!
